Paul Schmitt

Works as a fitness trainer at Kennedy Club Fitness and teaches at Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo. Holds the school record of 15’ 2” (4.63m) at St. Anthony’s High School in South Huntington, Long Island, NY. Earned a scholarship to NCAA Division-II powerhouse Kutztown University where he raised the school record to 17’ 1 ¾” (5.22m), won 3 Eastern College Athletic Conference titles, 4 Pennsylvania State College Athletic Championships titles, and was a 3-time runner-up at the National Championships and a 5 time All American. Received a B.A. degree in Elementary Education from Kutztown University (Pennsylvania) and a M.A. in Kinesiology from Cal Poly SLO in 2005. As a post-collegian, he has raised his PR to 17’ 5 ¾” (5.32m). His professional goal is to become a full time Jr. College teacher and track coach.
